A Swiss voyage into the unknown

Written by Kalakini CC at 00:10 8/1-2014

Monte Rosa - a first ever tour for Kalakini CC after nearly eight seasons of striving for mediocrity. In fairness it wasn't an unmitigated disaster - two top 9 finishes, 70 points and $9000 in prize money. At one point, Natalio Valderrama was even living the heady life of a tour leader. However, the niggling doubts remain that perhaps we are one or two divisions higher than we really should be and without a stand out captain. Still, we will persevere with our bizarre mix of training and strategic team mate purchases and aa resolute determination to fly in the face of tried and trusted logic by attempting to maintain both a climbing and sprinting squad. Let's see if we can maintain our current form in division 3 for a little while longer.
